Thank you Ma'am Jing!

Since I'm just a newbie in the stock market, I spent a lot of time visiting forums to ask, banter, etc. & eventually - to learn.

There are a couple of message boards I stumbled upon in my three months of trading, and those are: TradersPizza by sir robert & Finance Manila by sir dragon. Both have its pro's and con's but I post more in TP.

In FM, I saw Ma'am Jing's  invaluable insights on her charts. She even gave in to my request as she put it up in her blog.

Again, thank you Ma'am Jing!

Bove: U.S. Financial Crisis Over

According to Richard Bove, it is over – the U.S. financial crisis & the deterioration of bank stocks. He proposed to investor that this is a “once in a generation” opportunity to buy stocks.

Who is Bove anyway, you might ask? Well, he’s an analyst who predicted that the financial shares will plummet eight months ago and advised investors to put them up for sale. He was right.

``The last time an opportunity of this nature existed to buy bank stocks this cheap was in 1990,'' said Bove who works in Florida-based at Punk Ziegel & Co. jot down in his study notes. ``There will be more negative developments but they will be meaningless.''

If Bove is right again, it could mean green light for PhiSix as well. If the U.S. market has reached the bottom, it’s time for another rally. Hopefully, the bear market this first quarter of the year is done. Optimistically, the second quarter will offer a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.

U.S. Stocks Rally

Wall Street ended the week of notable volatility with a huge advance Thursday that pulled the stocks soaring for the week but didn't hush all of shareholders' worry about the market and the fiscal system.

Investors chip in bargain stocks and the Philadelphia Fed manufacturing report even though dropped - beat economists’ estimates, aided stocks alleviate the unpredictability of the market. The Dow Jones industrial average ascended 260 points, ending the week with 3-plus percent gain.

Mixed signals were received by investors regarding new economic readings. 378,000 filed for unemployment benefits, 22,000 more than the estimate.

Commodities prices fall off harshly which gave hope to investors since prices might get lower and it will boost consumer spending and inflation will slip.
